Super Bowl Commercial Bingo Game
Each year for the Superbowl, we throw a party for the residents. It’s a great time to socialize and come together to cheer for an exciting game. We keep it pretty simple as there are 2 other parties (Mardi Gras/Valentine’s) that we throw each year. Throwing multiple parties in February means the budget gets a little tight, I’m sure you can relate! Soooo…. we do a Potluck Super Bowl Party! The residents and staff (whatever nurses, etc are scheduled to work) will bring different chips/dip or sandwiches, brownies, etc. This is a great way to save some budget money without really compromising the experience. Old Hollywood Themed Party
Our 90’s party has quickly become one of the favorite events of the year. Each year we have a collective birthday party for all our residents aged 90 and above. This has become a really special and exclusive sort of tradition for our residents. It is a really special opportunity to honor them. I really went all out this year with an Old Hollywood theme. These are all resources that I use personally at our facility. I’ve gotten great feedback on these programs from the residents, so I thought I’d share!
